Superficial healing often occurs within 1–2 weeks, with further improvement in the appearance of the scar over the following months.

Can a cyst come back after removal?

If the entire cyst sac is removed, recurrence at the same site is less likely. However, cysts can occasionally recur if some of the sac wall remains or if you are prone to developing cysts.
